I got a pair of GTS ones when I bought my Berly. I'd definatly suggest not using them as lens covers as they are just double sided taped on, and even if they were applied with a more permanent means, the light distribution would look bad.

I'd suggest just getting some VHT Nightshade and spraying it onto your tail lights, after you replace the one that is busted. It's going to look a lot better, black out LENSES look cheap. Plus you don't have to worry about some idiot stealing your $50 lenses, the VHT stuff is like paint.

Blackout lenses do not look cheap. And they aren't cheap, especially if they get stolen. I've been reading and many people say go with Testor Window Tint spray instead of VHT. The VHT stuff doesn't leave a good shiney look, not as good as the Testor Brand. I recommend going with the spray instead, that's what i'll be doing since I have someone stealing and trying to break into my car. It will look cleaner than the lenses as well.

what i was hoping to either weld up a metal frame for them and secure the lenses to that with something permanent like a glue or a high tinsel strength epoxy or cut the mounts off the original lenses and hold them to the blackouts with an epoxy and paint the tail light and turn signal bulbs red with transparent paint how would this work and i want to do this so they can easily be removed but still be permanent and give the back of my camaro the look i want
