Fixing up glass t-tops.
I recently bought some glass t-tops to replace my junk lexan ones and they need to be cleaned up a bit.
What kind of polish has anyone used to get out fine scratches?
Mine have the plastic trim on the edges and they are lifting off. Is it ok to take the trim off and clean off the dried up glue to make them look like the later style glass t-tops?
Sanding and painting the trim thats fades then rusts on every t-tops put there. Standard stuff?

dont know if glass is something you can just polish. as far as that plastic strip goes, remove that and re-glue it if you like, or you can buy new ones online too. if your glass is scratched, what you can do is use VERY FINE steel wool and run down the glass in circles, that may get off stains and deffuse large scratches. dont use the steel wool on the tinting tho.
