Put a new Paint Job on the Nitrous Bottle, take a look

Decided to paint one of my nitrous bottles. Based it in black, taped out the flames and sprayed them, put a clear base with blue pearl down, then cleared the bottle. Came out awesome, it's black..until it gets int he light, then it pops into a very dark black pearl

This bottle will be more of a "show piece" I've got just a regular 10lb blue bottle installed in the car already. I would paint that one too...but everytime I get it filled, they scratch it...which pisses me off. The best thing about it though is that I painted it free!

i'd build a wooden crate and make a styrofoam mold, then you could drop her in the box and fill it up, haha.

Looks great Sickness! I've wanted to paint my bottle for awhile but I haven't really had any inspiration until now. Good work, it really looks fabulous.

Man that really looks good. Can I ask what kind of tape did you use to shape the flames?

thanks guys. I used 1/8" fine line tape to shape the flames...I guess it tidn't turn out to bad for my first flame job. As for mounting it, I think I'm just going to set it outside the car...as more of a show piece. I've still got my other 10lb bottle mounted in the car though.

And for the fual rail covers, it's funny that you mentioned it...because I just finished up the drivers side up! I'll post picture when I install it tomorrow

again, thanks for comments!

Nice! I've been wanting to paint mine Pearl White to match the car but I guess I should get it installed first!

BTW...do you have to have the sticker on the bottle to get it filled?
