stupid headliner!
classicindustriesusa.com has headliner kits for $139 that include new sail panels, sun visors, and factory cloth to reupholster it yourself. Not a bad deal, eh? They come in whatever color you want, and the sail panels and visors are already ready. Also comes with the extra hardware and glue to put it all back together.

I re-upholstered 2 of mine. A non t-top and a t-top headliner. THe non t-top was a piece of cake and came out great. The t-top one turned into an abortion. I bought the headliner material at Jo-Ann fabric for $10 a yard and bought 3m Spray Adhesive at wall mart for about $7.

Is your car a t-top or coupe car? Mine has t-tops, i had 2 recovered and they were a nightmare - the t-bar area got stretched outward and with the tops off you could see the inside of it - it was a mess - classic industries does have the kit, but i found a mint one in a rec'd theft car that i got for $100.

I replaced my headliner twice. I even used the original fabric, but I had to buy new foam which is a bout 50cents/sqrft. If you do it yourself, make sure everything is clean (no old foam particals on the fabric) Also make sure that you use 3M spray adhesive. The pematex adhisive wont hold for more than a month. that's why i did mine twice!!
