Gloss or Flat?
I'm debating the color with my hood. It needs to be painted and I'm being told that it will look good with either flat black or gloss black. I'm here to get some opinions and maybe someone can chop the color to gloss black to get a good comparison? Heres one with the hood being flat black with a custom 357ci. on the cowl.

A gloss black would look the best. The flat black hood doesn't look right with the gloss black of the rest of the car.

usually you would see a flat black hood on a car that does not have black as the body color. in your case i would, without any doubt, go with gloss

Gloss, and loose the lettering on the cowl. IMO, let people find out what size engine you have when you stomp on the loud pedal.
Also it appears as though you've got gloss black headlight buckets?? Just another reason to stick with gloss on the hood.
