Ram Air II rise?

Ram Air II rise?
So i installed a performer rpm q-jet intake onto my 86 lg4. I put the carb back on, and lo and behold, the stock hood wont close with any form of air cleaner on. So what i want to do is put on a ram air II hood, but i need to know the rise on the hood. Has anyone else had a problem with this?

WOW, that sucks!!!
Ummm...my buddy had one of them hoods and I think its like 3-4 inches higher than the stock one. Don't quote me on it but that's what it looked like!
