Have a good time with your toy, I hope you kept the reciept.

Wow your not just a tool, your the shed
I got plenty to show for everything i have every had. Build pics, dyno graphs, photo shoots etc.... and almost 2 years fighting in the f-ing sandbox to afford the stuff i wanted , and then figure out how to put it all together on the short amount of time off i get.
I didnt buy respect. I never will, and i dont expect it from anyone on the net. Its something all those around me in the "real world" have choosen to give me for who I am and what I have done.
So i am glad i could make you happy.

Now....

Funny, you do not want me to reply to your thread but you continue our conversation. I am military too, so I do not fall for your silly guilt trip about fighting anything. Anyone can google dyno sheets, and have people build you a motor. There is a difference between a car enthusiast and a gear head.

I build motors because I find it soothing to my being. You are right though, not everyone eats and breathes cars like I do. Forgive me for expecting you to be obsessed about cars like me.

Well I am off to bed. Have fun

There are pleanty of cars built by other people aside from the owners. If you paid for the labor to get what you want, your way, because you don't have that skill or tooling, it's still yours.

One calls any car they own theirs even though a factory and a crew of machines/people built it.
One calls the house they pay for theirs even though they didn't build it.
One calls the food they buy at the store theirs even though they didn't grow it.

It is his car.

Cut the BS.

I first must say that you are entitled to your opinion and I'm glad that you enjoy doing every last minute detail yourself. I do much of the stuff myself simply because it's so hard to find people who will do good work.

That being said, it's people like you who are responsible for third gen being in the poor shape it's in. So many people with nice cars don't visit here or rarely post up because of childish and narrow minded people like you.

Here we had someone start a great thread with an awesome car and you went around turning it into a philisophical battle that is essentially you saying you're better than he is (or most anyone else for that matter). Personally I think you're compensating for something. GROW UP AND GET A LIFE!

So I am responsible for all the idiots who make their thirdgens awful? LOL
You will not see one ounce of anything rigged in my car.

You are narrow minded because you did not even consider my side. A mind is like a parachute works best when open.

I have already said it was a great car. It is beautiful. It is just a shame that he did not do the work, Then when I get the third degree, had to explain myself. I did not come here looking for a fight but people like you are sensative, drag it out.
