hatch shade
I got my hands on a hatch shade for my camaro. it sticks on the trunk with double sided tape. I wanted to know how do I change the color from black to the color of my car? I saw a TRUCKS and they used a air brush for their truck, can someone please explain the whole process step by step?

The first time I installed my sun shade.
1. Cut the hole for the plastic brackets.
2. Found the metal bracket for the hatch.
3. Cut the plastic hatch.
Done so I thought. After time the brackets caved in.
4. Found the metal bracket in the salvage yard.
5. Glue them on to car then remounted the plastic brackets.
And I'm sure the glue will give in time too.
Paint... Not sure...
