Pics of 82-84 Z28 without front ground f/x
I saw a Camaro at the track a while back, it had the 82-84 Z28 bumper without the ground effects, and it looked pretty good. So good that im thinking of doing the same thing. I was wondering if anyone had pics of the same thing so i can make up my mind.

all z28's would have the front chin spoiler unless you're thinking of a non-ground FX car

an 82-84 Z28 without the front ground effects? That would just look unfinished and horrible...unless you saw a SC or something.....

No this guy had a sport coupe with the 82-84 Z28 bumper but he removed the chin spoiler, it looked pretty good. The 82-84 bumper the ground effects bolt on from underneath so it doesn't look retarted like the newer bumpers w/o the chin spoiler attached. It basically looked like an 82-84 sport coupe but without the 3 slots in the front bumper, which is the only thing i dont like about a sport coupe.

I have to agree the '82-'84 Z28 nose would look unfinished without the front airdam/GFX.The SC/Berlinetta nose was completely different even to the point of using different "grill" inserts. They were finished down to the lower cooling airdam.

Well when i asked the guy what front bumper it was, he said he didnt know, he bought the car like it was. I came to the conclusion that it was an 82-82 Z28 bumper because it was more angular like the 82-84's and it didn't have the 3 slots in the front like a SC. It might be an aftermarket bumper IDK.

Yea it is, it looks retarded. Im swapping all my stuff into a 85 SC and it needs a front end thats why i wanted pics to decided between the 82-84 SC front bumper or the 82-84 Z28 bumper w/o the chin spoiler.
