Black looks good, either do that or leave them silver. Don't do white, that doesn't look good at all.

It probably is me. I live in Elizabethton and go to ETSU. As far as I know, mines the only white 91-92 with black stripes. There is a Z28 with no stripes and a RS with red. Both are fairly nice cars, especially the RS. Feel free to chase me down sometime, lol

 

I have a 84 Z28, white, 92 gfx, hood blisters and highrise, with older style polished irocs.

I will get pics of the centered axle in a tomorrow, you guys can let me know what you think. And in a month or so I will be having the spacers machined down.

As for the guys car that is in question, Go GUNMETAL, NO one will have the same rims as you, (exept me)

 

I love my Zr1s, possibly one of the sexiest wheels IMHO

at least a 1/4" I hammered the inner rear quarters enough with a hammer that I have a lot more room back there than I origionally expected. The tires stick out a bit, but thats cuz they are used tires off a Viper (got a crazy deal on them). Over the summer i will be switching to 315s and tucking them in. After machining the spacers will be 1.75" about. And the wheel will be just a little further out than stock. (perfect in my eyes)


Although, every single person who has seen my car in person says they absoluly love the way it looks with the tires peeking out the sides. At least at the last 6 cruises I have been at and all the TGO members to come over my house. Even the gay that painted my car said it looked stupid at frist, but when I came to pick up the car, he was in love with the look. Craziness.

do them white only if you can keep them clean. deffinately would need brake dust covers if you had white and might want to invest in some wheel cleaner for any color. I've got a cirtus one made by greased lightning and it works incredibly. you just spray it on and hose it off if you and if its really bad after a few spray and hoses use a sponge and spray the rim and go at it with the sponge.

 

Dennis man, that ride is SO nice. Love the look/stance. Bad ***. As for the wheels, Id go gunmetal, like Dennis. Sorry for the hijack, back to topic!
