anniversary white and green rally stripes, pics

I posted over two years ago about any pics of a white third-gen with green rally stripes and I found none. I decided to paint that scheme anyway. I posted pics, I think, I've never posted pics before. Tell me what you think, I did it in my garage and now I'm ready to do the tpi to carb swap. By the way do you think the side needs a pin stripe of something?

I have never seen green ralley stripes on a white car before, I really like them. Personally, I think it would look better without the stripe along the bottom though.

very origional. from what i can see its a quality job. I am unsure how i feel personally about the green, i think i'd of gone a bit darker myself, but overall very nice.

I think it looks great! Not sure about the wheels however, they seem to be too dark for the paint scheme.

Re: anniversary white and green rally stripes, pics

very nicely done.........well thought out. I do like the darker wheels, but not sure about the lower stripe. As with any car, some like it, some don't. As long as you do, that is all that matters really. I have to say overall that I really like the car as it is.

Looks really good!

Question: why are you going from TPI to carb? That seems a little backwards.

Re: anniversary white and green rally stripes, pics

Thanks again for the replies, its nice to hear after much hard work. As for tpi to carb swap, the reason is I put a 383 stocker in the car and the stock tpi is too restrictive and the computer will not function properly. That being said I want to go to a carb and learn how to tune that system like guys did with older muscle cars, cause are third-gens, by right, are muscle cars. Anyway thanks for sharing your opinions on the paint.

Re: anniversary white and green rally stripes, pics

F-bodies are Pony Cars not muscle cars. The computer will function properly, it just isn't tuned right. There are lots of aftermarket intakes that will handle that 383 just fine, but of course it seems you've already made up your mind on going carb.

Nice looking car, though.
