Good Deal?

Since the untimely demise of my last Trans Am I have been on the search and I think I may have found something, I'd like to know what you guys think.

1985 Pontiac Trans Am

This car has a rebuilt 350 with about 4000km. on it, auto, lots of performance parts in motor, t-tops, blue with grey race stripes asking $4000.00
(Canadian) obo car has to go

I have since emailed the guy to further inquire

The body of the car has 217503, It's 4 speed auto, No rust paint job was done about 5 years ago its blue with grey race stripes, It used to have a/c but took it out when i got the motor done it has power windows, power locks, T-tops, ground effects package, the motor has edlbrock intake and carb, performance cam, chrome dressing, it's about 300hp. it has 15 inch rims which are 5 spoke after market wheels and new rubber.

I saw this car around town about 6 months ago and I think the rims were off of a Corvette. So what do you guys think? Do you have any questions I could ask him?
Also, I don't know the right place for this to go so feel free to move it

Re: Good Deal?

Yea you would almost have to have pics of the car b4 we could tell you how much it’s worth… but with over 200,000 miles on it, I wouldn’t pay over 3 grand for it. Honestly I think you could get a fairly mint iroc-z 4 around 4-6 grand…. But that’s not really wut you asked, so yes from what I can tell at this moment 4 grand is a fair price, but maybe a little high…

Re: Good Deal?

I guess it wasn't clarified that the body mileage was in km's so its about 132,000miles. I also found out from the guy that the car has a rhino performance exhaust with holley headers, Pioneer CD deck with a Kenwood amp and Cirwinvega 10" sub.
