Scratched power bulge!!
Scratched power bulge!!
Some envious person seems to have taken the liberty of scratching one of my power bulges (the passenger side one). The scratch doesn't seem to be too deep. I was wondering if maybe I could buff it out somehow? Is there some compound I should try?
The bulges are black.
Also, are they painted plastic? Or black plastic? That's my biggest fear.. buffing the paint right off.
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they are painted plastic like the ground effects. Check the tech articles, I think there is an article about paint repair.

I think that there are different ones...Mine happen to be White.... but I have seen Black ones before
I think it all really depends on how deep the scratch is if it's as minor as you say I was able to get a couple of small ones out but they were pretty small
When you do buff them just go slow and take your time and don't press too hard
edit=Oh yes they are Plastic
