Zaino and Duragloss - same product?
Zaino and Duragloss - same product?
I gave in to the peer pressure and bought Zaino, #s 1, 2, 5, and 6. I have begun using it and it is very good and not hard to apply.
I am curious, however, if it isn't the exact same product as Duragloss, the product I have been using before Zaino. They look the same, they smell the same, the packaging is similar, and the process of application is the same.
In each, you have to prep the surface first using a pre-polish "lok" or surface prep. In each, you leave the pre-polish prep on when you polish. With Duragloss, you have a choice of either a cleaner/polish [like Zaino #5] or pure "show polish" [like Zaino #2]. Each has a show finish spray that you use for touch-ups and to keep static electricity down.
Anyone have the skinny? Are these really the same product marketed differently? Don't get me wrong, I have no complaint with either product, I thought Duragloss was excellent and got me great compliments on my paint at shows and cruises. I decided to try Zaino after reading all the raves and it too seems to be an excellent product. They both are fairly expensive, so it's not a price thing. I just have a hunch they're the same product marketed differently.
