car cover and antenna??

When you are using a car cover what do you do with the antenna? Just leave it on and let it bend or does the cover have a place for it to go?
Thanks in advance

Re: car cover and antenna??

Some covers have a hole for the antenna, but if not then the antenna can be removed pretty easily before covering the car. You could also use a grommet kit and put your own hole in a cover.

I would just unscrew the antenna and throw it in the car.

Re: car cover and antenna??

dunno if your camaro was set up like my bird but find yourself a pwr antenna and pop it in there. on my formula it was just a matter of running the harness thru the hole where the recept wire comes thru and buying a relay and all of this was plug and play.
there is a plug behind the panel that is above the hush panel on the pass side. screw the relay down with the exsisting screw boss thats behind this panel and plug both plugs in to the relay and your done. i had a similar issue with covering up my car and thats how i fixed it. the whole project takes about 45 mins.
