How Do You Deal With Curb Rash?

This may be a simple answer but I looked at the tech articles on how to remove your clear coat and polish your rims but neither article mentioned anything about dealing with curb rash. Can I just use sandpaper and remove it that way? I don't have access to a sandblaster or any power tools of that sort. If sandpaper is the way, what grit would I be looking at using? If a sandblaster is necessary I'm sure I could rent one from Home Depot or Menard's.

Thanks

The search function isn't working as of this time... you can use the Google one, but that isn't as effective from my experience.

I don't think a sandblaster is what you need for this, though. How bad is the rash?

Not sure yet. Seller said 'minor' and if minor curb rash is sand-able then I'm going to grab them.
