Thinking of getting Pro-Stars? Look here!

I just installed them last night and couldnt be happier! I had to do the normal caliper grinding to the rear calipers(I have an LS1 T/A Axle w/ 12" Rotors) I used a 5/16" spacer in the rear and a 2" adapter in the front to keep in line w/ rears. I think it looks badass and Hooks so much better than my worn out street tires. Tell me what you think!!

Chris

Thanks, I picked up the 3.8L Turbo Engine and a bunch of parts for a mere $800, I bought a used turbo, Downpipe, ECM, Injectors, and transmission and built the engine and here I am. Probably have around 9k into the whole thing now though

They are 15x10 with a 7.5" backspacing to fit the LS1 Axle. Thanks for the compliments guys, this car is pretty fun to druve on the streets. I am hoping to install longer wheel studs on the rears and run it this thursday @ test & tune. Lets see if I can get out of the 2.2 60's and get some real ET's. My best @ the track so far is a 12.85@ 110.40 on a 2.2 60' launching off zero boost. I am able to hold about 6 psi boost on the footbrake with slicks on & on the street. Lets see what happens on a prepped track

What size are your rear tires?I just picked two 15x10 pro stars with slicks.I'm running a 9 inch rear end that came out of a 4th Gen.I was doing some measuring and I don't think mine will fit under there.By the way thay look awsome!!!!

Very nice I did the exact same thing a few months go. grinded the calipers (LS1 brakes) and ran a 5/16 spacer! looks great!

Re: Thinking of getting Pro-Stars? Look here!

I like the rims but I don't like the use of the spacers in the front. Looks better without them IMO.
