power antenna replacement source?
power antenna replacement source?
91 Trans Am GTA w/ bad power antenna - motor keeps running, had to pull accessories fuse. Where to buy replacement antenna? I checked Ebay, (the last place I got one for my Camry), no luck. I haven't opened up the cover in the wheel well to investigate yet. Thought I'd look for the part first. Anyone? Thanks.
OOps - Guess I posted in the wrong thread. - But went to the audio thread, and found one possible source - Modern Day Muscle. Went to their site, and they have a repair kit I may try, since my motor runs, but the mast doesn't move. Also did a search on the Vendor Review for them, and they seem well liked. Thanks.

Buy this: http://www.moderndaymuscle.com/inc/sdetail/796 and some silicone sealant from Autozone to seal the antenna housing back up and some white lithium grease to lubricate everything inside while you have it all apart. Getting the power antenna in and out of the car is harder than actually fixing it in my opinion.
