Didn't it used to be blue with white racing stripes?

Looks nicer now though.

the wheels are from eagle racing. (Can't remember what they are called though!) And, yup! It used to have stripes. The paint job is from Earl Sheib! It set me back a whole $350.

Nice DUBS, kid.
DUBS: Inner city slang for Aftermarket Rims, Mags, Wheels. Proper Dubs can be a status symbol and/or could get you laid all by themselves.

The Wheels are 16's.

DUBS? Ha! I was informed by a buddy of mine that some gang people call diamonds "bling blings". HAHAHAHA.

I forgot to give yall my mods list:

ZZ4 Crate Motor (20k on it)
Rebuilt 700R4 w/aftermarket stall, transgo shiftkit, Billet Servo (200 miles on it)
Edelbrock headers
hi flow cat
flowmaster
custom chip
k&n airfilters, gutted airboxes
tb airfoil, tb coolant bypass
24# fuel injectors

I can't think of anything else...sorry! Anyway, the downsides are no a/c and 2.73 gears.

sigh...
if only my fiance felt the same way you guys do! Everytime we go out in it, she gets naucious (sp?) because of the exhaust rumbling the car. Especially if we are sitting in one place. Luckilly, she has a nice little saturn. It's good to sometimes be able to run around in a quiet, air conditioned car, but if I hear a 4th gen, a C5 or a stang rumbling by, I wanna hop in my car and show em' whats up! Well...unless they REALLY run...then, I get humbled real quick. Thanks guys for all the great comments! It makes me even more proud to be the owner of an IROC and be a member of this great club!

Wait a minute... the same guy who says enthusiastically, "I went to Earl Sheib!" all of a sudden says, "DO NOT GO TO EARL SHEIB." Something is not what it appears.

I'm with QwkTrip, what's up with that? It looks nice in that pic, but can u get some closeup pics? Why don't u try using some zaino on it or something? I plan on a Maaco job and putting MANY coats of Zaino on it... hopefully that will look ok.

Oh my goodness - well, I don't even know where to begin w/the Earl Scheib stuff. Lets just say they wanted to screw me out of $600, my car got stolen from the shop, etc. Before the car got stolen, they refused to fix what I paid for because the old managers that did it did not work there. If I were you, I would steer clear from there - they are a production paint shop, not custom and while my paint job looks nice in those pics, I had it redone - don't get me wrong, the car imho looks good, but there are things like the painter's hair in one of my stripes! Here are some updated pics (sorry for the poor quality)

Now, for some reason LOTS of people wanna race I also get a lot more compliments now too!

Its nice. It would look cooler with the IROC-Z stickers. I wouldn't have continued the stripes to the rear bumper though.

So these are pics of Earl Scheib, or are they pics of the paint job you had done to fix the Earl Scheib?

yes, the new stripes were done by scheib as well - and since they screwed up on it, they will not make it right!!! I have to take my car in on 4 separate occassions because they could not get it together!

great car!! im a big fan of racing stripes, stand out more. i got em on my firebird...going down the middle i love em , half of my friends hate em and half of my friends love em. i also was not happy with the paint job i got on my car either. it cost me $1,400 and they didnt paint the black trim on my hatch and t tops exc.. and i had the extra bonus of getting my front headlights painted and my 1,200W Boss amp!.. i was especially pissed about the amp those fockers. u can see it in the readers rides if u want or if my sig works in there
