Removing paint from wheels

I've had my teal RS now for awhile, and the guy I bought it from thought it would be cool to paint the rims a similar teal color, which I think is hideous and makes such a beautiful car just look trashy. Any opinions on how I can remove the paint while not harming the rims?

Re: Removing paint from wheels

well do a search and look for cleaning up the rims. most people suggest air craft paint stripper to remove the clear. that would remove the paint i would think. Good Luck and keep us posted!

and welcome!

I just finished a set of GTA rims and I used the air craft stipper from Advance. It works very well. Just make sure you have some rubber gloves and some water close by because if it gets on your skin it burns. It saves alot of time stripping them over using sand paper. Then you can polish them or repaint them
