Re: which taillights

do what you think is best, personally i'm not a fan of the 3 row grids, i like the bi-split down the middle, but to everyone their own.

What you need to do is take one driver side...and take one passenger side...set them on your kitchen table. Now what you need to do is set a foldable chair up 5 feet away from the table and compare the pros and cons of the looks in your head and not get up until you've reached your decision :-p.

Other than that if your looking for input...like i said i like the split down the middle.

Re: which taillights

It all depends on what your car looks like. I both sets and 2 of my camaros have the grid and the other has the split lens. The grids are nice if you want to make them look like they are sat in by painting the insides body color and leaving the lenses alone.

Re: which taillights

i had stock single line on my car . previous owner had used elect. tape to make them look like grids . while trying to remove tape residue i removed part of the center stripe . o.k. , then i polished and removed all of the center stripe on one . stood back looked at them , then jumped on the unpolished one and removed center stripe on both . love the way it looks , and it was cheap . cost , can of polish , 6 pack , old tooth brush and a couple of hours .
i love the way mine turned out . just a suggestion / consideration .

Re: which taillights

I've never been a fan of the stripeless lights, but they look good on that car. It's hard to give advice on which style to use because it all depends on the look of the car and the owner's personal preference.

Re: which taillights

Just found a set of grid style lights for my 89 RS. The single stripe wasn't a bad look IMO, but I like the grids so much better. Here's a side by side comparison as I was putting them on, the car and the lights need quite a bit of cleaning yet...
