How can I fix up my Fiberglass Bumper Cover???

Hey guys,

I just started work on my bumper (86 TA)yesterday, and noticed that on the top part, there's a dent as if some really fat guy sat on top of it. My question is what compound can I use to Bondo it up (I know Bondo itself won't stick) or can I just take off the bumper cover and "pop" the dent in from the inside. Has anybody done this before, I could really use some help with this.

Thanks guys

-Max

You could try taking it off and working it with a heat gun to make the plastic more plyable and allowing it to cool and harden in the correct shape, then reinforce it with somethin solid from the back to keep it from sagging again. Or there's a company (I think bondo) that makes a flexile bumper repair kit you can find at most local auto parts stores.

Thanks, I'll go to Pep-Boys right now nad try to find it. If not I'll start using the heat gun.
