Cleaning up the engine bay again
This time, deleting the huge coolant tank and relocating the headlight relay for 2 wire style firebirds
First the relay:
Remove the main bulkhead connector and pull the headlight harness up to the battery
Strip the loom and find the wires for the relay plugs
One plug will have ample wire length and can be moved without changing anything
The other must have 3 wires lengthened about 4 feet
Put the loom back on and plug it back up and your done with the changes
I prefer to run the loom next to the fender lip rather than along the frame rail
Drill 2 holes and relocate the relay bracket beside the battery tray behind the fender
You will have some slack wire left over, either shorten it or zip tie it to the bottom of the tray
Done
Now for the coolant bottle
I found this in a JY off a 91 honda accord
2 zip ties and its done, ignore the blower please

Re: Cleaning up the engine bay again
This is in my ls1
We are probably never going to put the ac baack in just because it is going to be a track car not a daily car. But look at the panel that we installed we are also painting the engine bay black to match all around. Might be an option for your car cause i see you got rid of it as well. All it is is regular sheet metal, then we riveted it to the car.
