To clear coat or not?
I'm putting together a new mill; trying to decide if I should clearcoat the new natural as cast aluminum intake to keep it from tarnishing?
If you've done it, I'd like to know how it's worked out for you long term and what product, prep method did you use?
Thanks!

Re: To clear coat or not?
Just as a question isnt it kinda hard to get a clearcoat to stick to a polished surface? And as far as to answer the original question I dont see why you couldnt clearcoat a cast aluminum peice to keep it nice but why? Cast intakes for example are not hard to cleam up with brake parts cleaner especialy if you keep up on it like say clean your engine bay whenever you wash your car
