clear coat weld prostars?

clear coat weld prostars?

anybody ever clearcoat weld prostars to keep them looking good? i have a powerball and some polish but it doesnt take long for them to start looking diry again. i searched but all i could come up with was how to remove clear coat from the stock wheels.

In the past my buddies and I have cleared aluminum wheels...the only problem w/clearing them is not they need to be treated like paint. Anything too abrasive will scratch-take the finish right off. Its the delemma we all run into w/ aftermarket wheels...

yea, i didnt think about that. i dont think they would look any better scratched up with a clear coat than just dirty from the elements. thanks for the heads up amigs
