91Z Foglight question inseide-->

Well, I own a '91Z now, no more an '85.., Anyways, one of the neighborhood kids was nice enough to break the housing of one of my foglights with a baseball. The driver's side is cracked and broken. Rather than pay an arm and a leg for new ones I bough some look alike at Pepboys. These are 55 watts, how many are the old ones? Can I take the old ones off and splice these into the old wiring? What do I need to do? Change the relays? Where is it if I have to? Please give me the low down if you can.

I'd suggest getting a part from a salvage yard or getting new ones from the dealership. Most aftermarket foglights are trash... if they do work they're likely to be short lived.

I don't necessarily think aftermarket ones are trash. You just have to get the right ones. I have Diamond Blue fog lamps on mine because my stock ones broke also. I paid about 60 bucks for them at Autozone. The are sealed to keep water out and they have the replaceable halogen bulbs. I did have to fabricate a adjustable bracket for them though, but it was much lighter than the stock bracket. As far as wiring goes you can just splice into your existing fog lamp plug. The cool thing about the ones I got was that they are cool blue so the look better than the stock ones, lot cheaper too!
Any more questions about them?
I have some pics of mine if you want them I can e-mail them to you.

You should get the parents of the kid to pay for it.Or at least claim it on your insurance and get the parents to pay the deductible.
Stock lights would be less hassle to install btw.
