cleaning coolent/washer jugs????
I really don't feel like paying 25 dollars a piece for a new washer/coolent jug
is there any kind of liquid cleaner that will clean our old dirty stained bottles???

I've had decent results with simple green and a toothbrush. I've seen a few painted ones that looked good, although they're not see-through anymore.

Yea I was in the same spot as u a year ago and decided I would soak mine in bleach, ended up turning them yellow… so I just bought new ones…

I used a little muriatic (hydrochloric) acid solution in one of mine awhile back. Took out all the rust residue and scale, but didn't affect the yellowing caused by age. Cant remember how much I diluted it, but it was pretty weak.

yea i gave in, bought new ones. ive tried to re-use things beforee like fixing up my original headliner. yea no way much happier now i have th abs plasitc ones.
sometimes new is best but its great when you can be happy and re-use what you got and not spend much money.
