How do you remove Zaino from entire car?

I did the entire Zaino process on my 93 Pace car a few weeks ago and complained about the work involved in removing buildup around the decals. 1 week before the Zaino, I used Turtle Wax Emerald Series and had the car looking awesome. I got a lot of flack on another board saying it wasn't the Zaino. I decided to give the Zaino a second chance and applied the Z5 again yesterday and found I wasted the whole afternoon removing the buildup from around the decals again. The difference Between Zaino and other waxes is I can buff the other waxes before they dry and that removes all traces of buildup. I want to completely strip the Zaino from the car and use traditional waxes. It will probably need to be done more often, but as a show car that never gets wet, it will be faster and easier using other brands.

Just use dawn like you did to strip the old wax off before.

Interesting. I've put four coats of Zaino on my car but haven't experienced the build-up you mention. I'm sorry you've had difficulties. Personally, I think the product is first class.

just be sure to get the z1 around the decals really well, and apply the polish really thin. It builds up occasionally, but only if I'm not paying attention to what I'm doing.

Also, the only way to completely remove Zaino is with rubbing alcohol. Good luck.

The buildup is around only the decals. If I didn't have so many, the finish would be great. The problem is the shape of the decals and the quantity of 'em. On the door, there are the multicolor stripes, the race car emblem, then 3 rows of different color text. Then you add the decals on the front fenders, hood and rear hatch. Whew!!! That's a lot of stickers to clean around.

So rubbing alcohol is the only way to remove it huh? That's gonna be a lot of work!!

This baffles me as I have heard good things about Zaino. I have been in contact with Sal and getting all the details worked out before I buy his products. My biggest concern was the compatibility with the decals and he assures me that there should be no problems. I just hope this is an isolated case
