Compatable front ends?

Im wondering if a firebird front end will work with a camaro body, I have another project Im working on. So any info would help. Dam 4 projects....lol Im lucky my girl doesn't mind, anyways yes can someone let me know.

Yes, but you have a lot of parts to swap. The front inner fenders are the same.

If you swap the whole front clip it will work

I dont know how you are going to wire up the headlight motors thou

It will physically bolt up but to make it look "right", you will need to do a lot of work.

The fender flares are different. You will need to cut out the fender flares and weld in matching fender flares. No having firebird flares in the front fenders and camaro fender flares in the rear, that would look stupid.

Ground effects won't match up. Even if you use 82-84 firebird ground efx or 91-92 ground efx which are the same height as camaro ground efx, the camaro ground effects curve in towards the wheel. Best thing to do is go without ground efx.

It would be perfect to do if your rear fender wells are rusting out. Anyways, if you don't weld in the fender wells, don't even bother attempting it.

it has been succesfully done before,i got a lot of pics of it
but i saved them in 2002-2003 and i have a lot alot of cd's im pretty sure someone here has them,it was a Camaro front with Trans am tail
