Polishing '91 Z28 rims?

Polishing '91 Z28 rims?
Well I saw the tech article on how to polish IROC rims. Is this process the same for '91 Z28 rims? Is there a clear coat I need to remove first? Does anyone have pics of polished '91 Z28 rims or some of that style? Any help would be much appreciated

I have the same rims and there are little machine marks in them. Be prepared to do a lot of sanding. You have to strip the clear coat and then I started sanding. I have only partially started them. I have to get rougher paper to take the machining marks out.
