Re: third gen bandit recreation
I know youve probably looked all over "evilbay" but have you tried looking for the spats as ground effects, while not the correct term most people just call anything on the bottom edge of the car a ground effect. My other thought would be to look for fender skirts, fender flares, or even wheel air dams. That last one may sound stupid, but, I seem to remember seeing some fiberglass reproductions about a year ago on
"evilbay." Otherwise, go to a local junkyard and poke around there for a while, just be sure to check multiple junkyards and DO NOT ask for help finding a part. The last time I went and asked for a part the price jumped $200.00 (there's a moral in that somewhere I'm sure) and be sure to bring a hacksaw or better yet a battery powered angle grinder w/ cutoff wheel, remember those things aren't just bolted on. The only reason I said all of that, be it useless or not, is I wanted to ask what you think the skirts would look like on a 4th gen, IF!.... the body was well contoured to match (Not just duct tape 'em on
) kind of a retro tribute of sorts.

So this has been dead for over a year now. What ever happen to the plans for your Firebird. Were you ever able to follow through?
