Protein Shake Powder on Seats
Protein Shake Powder on Seats
How can I remove protein shake powder that has been baked into the seats and carpet on the floor-board? It's very crusty and appears to be stuck to the seat pretty well. The powder that spilled on them is red and the seats are grey.
What procedure should I follow to clean up this mess & what products should I use?
Thank you.

ouch, try renting a steam cleaner? it will either liquidify the crusty powder and lift it up, or it will make a muddy mess and make it worse. good luck.

yea ur gonna need a carpet extractor (or steam cleaner). i used to work in a detail shop a while back and thats how we got road salt outta carpet. You may have to go ever it for a little bit and get it nice and hot so it melts back down.

You are definitely going to have to shampoo the carpets. You could try a carpet stain remover first, such as resolve, let it soak a bit, then try and scrub it with a rag.

your lucky the seats have some gray shade, try getting that **** out of a white shirt, you should spray a foam cleaner over the spots for a couple of days then hit it with a steam cleaner - all in all, it shouldn't be that hard to remove out of the threads just remember sometimes the seat foam will soak up the stain and it is possible for it to come back after being sat on
