Going to take my car in to get retintned....saw that they did t-top tinting.....my tint right now has cracks running all over the place...and it looks like crap....anyways....they charge $45/hour to remove old tint...i was wondering how hard it would be to remove it myself. Any info would be appreciated. Oh one more thing...the first place i took it to said that they didnt tint ttops because it was always exposed to the sun...so the tint would get ruined very easily...also i think they said they were painted (no film) from the factory....is this true?

well to remove it you can go to a auto parts place and buy a spray on stuff that eats the window tint..(well it makes it easy to get off)...about tinting the tops...eh i wouldnt do it..but thats just me...ive seen cars that have their tops tinted and it isnt that bad...but ive also seen some horrid ones...if i remember right its smoked glass or something like that...not paint i dont think....almost like the glass its self is dyed....uh...someone smart better check that
