Thanks alot! yeah It sure does look nice but i need to get it to drive nice! I need help with taking out the ECM and replacing the PROM. It came with a performance chip in it, and I want to put the stocker back in because It runs horrible sometimes... You wouldnt have a link to anything that could help would ya?

 

After mine's painted I'm installing the 5.7 Tuned Port on the back bumper and the stickers that go under IROC on the rocker panels.

 

I was talkin about the red one... but with a little work that other one could be very nice too!


1slobird91 - very nice pics, I don't think Ive ever seen those rims with those gfx but it looks great.

Nater2491,your car looks sweet!
I would either go with black or silver on the insets of those wheels instead of
gold.Would go better with the paint and stripes already on the car.
Thats just my opinion though.Its your car and if you like it,so be it.
Oh yeah,I would also stuff some grid tails on there too.

TMIC87TPI: the red 2nd gen is actually not red (Hugger Orange) is the actual color OH YEAHHH!!!She is sweet and very NASTY!!

The GOLD doesn't exactly match up with the yellow paint and silver/black stripes.
GOLD/BLACK stripes wouldn't match up to good to that yellow paint either.
So................I'm sticking to black or silver on those wheels!
Again,just my opinion!

 

i had it painted a couple of weeks ago, these pictures are straight from the camera and are the car the day i got it back. i kind of liked the non grid tail lights but i took them off and put the grid ones on. i also replaced all the silver decals with gold

Sweet. I've been looking for these wheels for the past 6 or so months but the local yards dont have them. Except one but they wanted almost 450 for them. BLUH. Looks great, i just seen it when you said to look at your car domain site, ZQ8 WHEELS...DUH i always forget too look at sigs.THANKS

 

Ya, since I 1st saw them i liked em. Looked for em with no luck. then i called GM and they wanted 700 a piece for em w/o the center caps. They were on ebay a while back going for a 700-750 a set with ur choice of center caps.

No kidding, ive looked on ebay but i wont pay 120+ each when i can get a nice set of 18's with tires for less than 500 at my store.... My local junk always charges 135 for aluminum wheels under 17" except them for some odd reason. lol

Add to that the cost of having them machined. As they wont fit the way they come. i learned that the hard way.

what needs MACHHINED

 

The ZQ8 wheels... Wont slide all the way on the hub. they have a bit of an inner lip that u have too get machined off.

i like those lights. what did you use to make the light up like that.

 

Is it the flash looking lights you are wondering about . You can use a starfilter on the camera to get the effect . I did not , i took the pic in the night so i have a long capture time on the camera and it turned out to be like a starfilter then .

Ive been wanting to do the hood blisters instead of the louvers on the daytona, didnt know they'd fit....great mod to it....
