My buddy runs 315/35/17's on his 84 Z with no issue's with the rear tires. I think he rolled his fender though. I've ran the same combo on my old '95 Z and had to cut the bump stops completely off, car never bottomed out. I hate the fact I have to run spacers but what am I going to do.

)You've got one clean *** ride, how much you got into paint and body? Who makes that hood, that's the best cowl hood for a third gen I've seen...never understood why they don't all follow the natural lines of the hood, and the gentle slope of the cowl sides is nice and flows well with the body.
Not sure if you're talking to me or Blew but either way I'll just pretend you're talking to me and say thanks.

Thanks, I love it...not bad lookin' for a 150k mile ride with 18 year old paint (was hailed on in '92 and had to be fixed the oldskool way before PDR was around,
)

Watson: Fine looking IROC, always a soft spot for the '90 IROCs! Nice to see more blue representation too. Great look with the Cragers. I almost missed it, but how did you get the cat to pose in the pic?

lordmetalz28 thats a clean looking Iroc you have i wanna get my hands on one of those turbo daytona hoods like you have i think they look pretty sick and much better than a cowl
Re: Let's post your best pictures so we have some nice wallpapers :)
Certainly not, paint looks great. Sorry about the hail, long hoods take a beating. I would have to do some serious back calculating to figure how much I have in paint and body. This was my first car and parts have been painted bit by bit as needed (I've never had the doors or fenders painted though.. I have a great paint and body man who matched the hood and installed the Z spoiler (started life as an RS). The hood was sold as a Jongbloed Hood but now is more commonly known as a Sunoco Hood. Hawks sells them: http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/ca...stylehood.aspx and sometimes they have them for less on ebay listings. And yea, I think he was paying you the compliment!

Ha! Thats funny. I've been on the hunt for headlight conversion or replacement so I've been paying attention to others headlights. I was leaning heavily toward the Silverstars ( I put some on our Cherokee) and really liked the difference both in look and brightness. Didn't know yours were SS but thought they had a nice clear look without the awkwardness of projectors.

Here's my 1990 IROC, paint-job is about 1 year old and the car is obviously garage kept. Hope you like!
