So which wheel and wheel size should I go for? I would PREFER the 5 spoke rims...but they dont come in 17X9.5 I want the widest tire possible on the back....without modifications....and I heard that 18" rims on thirdgens are a bi*ch and dont look very good.....also.....will my speedo be off? If so..how do i fix it? And what size tires?

Add $1000 or more for tires...... $300 for spacers.... $50 for a whiz wheel to chop up the car to make those 18"s fit.......

What do you mean by chopping up my car? What would they have to do?

I think he means all the clearancing you'd have to do in the rear wheelwell, and wether they'll fit on the front at all. I'd hack the **** out of my car to put Z06 wheels on it. In a heartbeat...they're so goddamned mean looking...

Just make sure you have a TIGHT set of brakes to put behind them, or you'll look like a tool...

The 18's fit fine. I have '99 vette wheels and tires and they only rub on heavy bumps with a full tank-o-gas

The fronts don't rub at all either and my suspension is all stock including shocks!
