Hey, firebretha....I have those floor mats in black. I bought them from the same person off of ebay. They look great in black. I dont like the way they look in gray in that picture. They are very heavy, and will not wrinkle up. I havent put them in my car yet, because I am waiting to redo my whole interior.

The "GM" mats were OEM equipment, but are long since discontinued. In fact, all 3rdGen mats may be gone now from the GM parts lists. I bought two sets for the 1991-92 GTAs in the same color of gray as my cars, but it did not match at all. The color and the style were both incorrect, and since my red GTA has let a sheltered life.... I don't think the carpet could have faded that much.....

I'd love to find someone that sells the replacement mats without any kind of logo on them. The little "GM" logos were just glued on..... so they could be conceivably transferred to a new set of mats for an original appearance.

Ideas, anybody?

Thats what I did,, I took a razor to the rubber emblem and cut it off the old mat and superglued it to a mat set from Pep Boys, It cost me like 25 bucks all around.

Yep!

That's what i did - I had a local upholstry shop get me a set - after I got it I found out they are from ACC (Auto Custom Carpets)...he used a swatch to match up the color, and I got them about a week later...

Color is dead on , and I got a pair of rubber "GM" badges off a friends old worn crap grey mats Cost me about $70 though, but I think it was worth it The fit is PERFECT on the passenger side floor over the cat.

I have plastic over them now too Nothing like double protection

Does anybody know if anyone makes mats that are molded to fit the floor? Every mat I've ever had wads up under my gas pedal, and gets totally screwed up on the passenger side because of the goofy shape.
