Plast-X + Porter Cable...Will it work for polishing t-tops??

Plast-X + Porter Cable...Will it work for polishing t-tops??
I was wondering if using my blue pad (the one for swirl removal on paint) and my porter cable and some Meguiars Plast-X will polish up my t-tops pretty good without messing anything up?
I've applied Plast-X by hand and from a distance it makes the tops look pretty sweet but up close I still have that hideous signature Lexan haze.

plast-x does a good job of polishing but it is not really much of a abrasive to buff anything out.
