Just like the title says, put new chrome valve covers on and washed and waxed it, the passenger side valve cover was a bit of a challenge but me and my dad got it. Heres some pics!, i also detailed the engine bay.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I was looking for a chrome air cleaner lid and ordered one from summit but it did not fit right, it was too tall. The chrome valve covers were about 100 from summit and the passenge side was somewhat difficult, the air tube going back to the cat was making it so you couldnt take it off, but i just bent that out of the way. Does any one have any suggestions about where to get a chrome air cleaner lid?

I have a chrome Edelbrock that is a direct replacement lid for the stock assembly we both have. Found it at an Auto Zone I think. It's not a bad piece.
If you would consider ditching some of the OEM air cleaner stuff, you could get a 14X6 lid, A K&N filter to match, and a non-drop base from Summit.

Oh yeah... you should also consider the strut tower brace too. It really helped stiffen the front end up and the stock air cleaner assembly still fits by it all.
Already got a Wonderbar?

I dont have a wonderbar yet but i am ordering one from spohn soon, and i wanted to get an open element but i was going to wait till i get a cowl induction hood. I dont think i really need a strut tower brace because i dont have that much horse power on the stock motor but it does look nice.
