Wondering if anyone has tried using Rust Bullet or Por-15 as a primer and painting a base/clear coat over it. I was thinking of painting at least the bottom half of the body in Rust Bullet before the actual paint, since I live in New England where salt is a big problem rusting out cars. I intend to drive my Iroc almost daily, even through the winter (that's the fun part!) and I want her to last a good long time. Will this work? Something else I should try?
