wet sandig

i am going to paint my car two stage and will probably have problems.my primer i sprayed in my friends garage had alot of orange peel and dust or dirt.i am going to try to set the gun better but what happens if alot of junk lands on it like the primer?am i going to have to wet sand the whole car befor clear?i have spent so many hours wet sanding the primer i would hate to do that again.and wet sanding the clear?

if stuff gets in the base you can wetsand the base coat before applying clear. I always try to spray 2-3 coats of base then wetsand and spray another coat of base before clearing.
