Factory appearance paint job

Right now I have a teal car. I will be painting it later....but I cant decide if I want it the same color with black stripes....or if I should go with a darker blue (like the BMW blue) with white stripes. My question is....will a good paint shop beable to paint the car the different blue, and cover all areas? I dont want any visible traces of the teal showing...such as under the hood (firewall and all that) and in the hatch area) But i dont want to strip everything out of the car, including all the suspension and engine and all that, so they have a bare body (too much trouble). If its not easily possible...I'll just repaint it the same color. Thanks

A good paint shop can make a complete color change un-detectable IF you have the money. It can add a substantial amount as underhood, inside trunk, door jambs and edges must be painted also which is not the case in a same color job.

An example would be a $3000.00 job can jump to $4000.00 for a color change.

can't be done......color change and not strip at least some of the car apart? you're kidding yourself. if your not willing to go the extra length paint it the same color.
