i just got my 6" harwood cowl scoop in, and am looking for ideas as far as paint goes. here is some of what i quick did on my cheap version of photoshop. it is going to be all blue, with the silver accents. so tell me what you think i should paint silver...

 

I'd say just paint the cowl hood silver to match the skirt of your car. The area around the cowl back to blue. but i'm confused with your pic it looks like you want a silver stripe down the middle??

 

the area that is whitish is what i was considering paniting silver. right now everything is blue but the lower trim.

i thought it would look better with the area (that is whitish) to be painted silver as well.

here are my questions that i am seeking opinions on...
1. should i paint around the scoop on the hood to match the scoop?
2. should i paint a stripe down the roof and rear deck to match?
3. should i go farther down on the front bumper? and if so, to where?

Check out CYARS92 car (nice by the way) he has a similar paint scheme on his hood but its not a cowl. There is a a pic of it in the "Lets post some pics for nice wallpapers" post in this same forum believe its on the third page . Hope this helps you out.

 

I think you should just paint the cowl to match your car and paint the sides of the cowl silver.
