rims custom made for 91 rs?
In a book called camaro performance i saw an 91 or 92z with assassyn rims on it. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can get those rims with the factory off sets so you dont have to deal with spacers or adapters and all that bull ****, cause i had spacers on my car and they broke around a corner and messed up my car bad! 4000 dollars worth! Well anyhelp would be appreciated thanks, and if you dont like the rims thats fine, I just want to know if anyone can help me everyone has different tastes

Mac,
I wont say a word bout your choice in rims, however above you stated you had spacers? From what i know spacers and adapters are 2 totally different things, i have had Adapters on my 92 for about 2 years now, and never once had a problem. The difference i belive is this :
A spacer just pushes the rim out off your brake drum/disk hub while using the existing lugs which makes you have less to screw your lug nuts onto, while an adapter bolts completely down to your origional lugs, and then supplys new lugs for you to bolt your wheels onto. Most adapters are made from high grade metals such as Billet aluminum or Titanium, ive never seen one in steel but im pretty sure they may exist.
anyways, How did your spacers cause damage wheel fall off?? or snap off?? if so that would be consistant to having less to bolt to and thus weakining your overall bolting onto the car.
Guys correct me if im wrong here.....
I guess what im saying is that if you had adapters you could run the rims you wanted to with out fear of causing another 4000.00 worth damage to your car, because they wouldnt break off like your spacers did.
hope this helps some.
