Re: plain 89 gfx or 91-92 style

It sounds to me like you prefer the 91-92 style...

Personally I would get an original set and install them, but if you prefer the 91-92 type then keep those... Honestly it would depend on the miles of the car, and what your intentions are... If you intend to keep the car then who cares but you, If you plan on selling it then I would definitely get a set of the correct GFX...

Re: plain 89 gfx or 91-92 style

personally once i get the funds to purchase 91-92 gfx im getting them i think they look killer then again i have a rs and a z28. On a Iroc i would keep the 89 style theres just somethings about 91-92gfx on a iroc that screams "CLONE"!!

Re: plain 89 gfx or 91-92 style

I like the earlier ones also. Those later ones look cool but are very fragile and require special brackets welded under the rockers to hold them up. Do you have the '91-'92 brackets under there or are they the smaller '85-'90 style? With the smaller brackets the '91 GFX get kind of floppy looking IMO

Re: plain 89 gfx or 91-92 style

i think if you like the 91-92 then keep them. BUT i think that they are in good shape id keep them. They are already on the car. Also i would stripe it like the iroc-z and have the updated look. I think either would look good but my vote goes with the 91-92.

You got any pics of the car?

I personally like the 91-92 style but if it s a lower mileage and you want it to be stock then switch'em out for the correct ones.

Do like the idea of the newer style with iroc striping.

i love both and i say plain because they are but simplicity on the gfx may not be a bad idea but i am still indecisive..did not mean to be misleading

so i am going to help you, help me w/that being said, in the near or distant future my new baby is going to have a light bar, c6 wheels, ultra blue metalic finish (rpo 98u,) and possibly a 5 inch spoiler.
salvage title= keeper
thx for the input so far

Ona bird, I personally like the older style, but on the camaros, I would say go with the newer ones, especially since you already have them.
