get it retinted and have some pros redo it. My bros car had the same **** your talking about. When he took it to get tinted they removed the old stuff free of charge. Otherwise I beleive there is a chemical you can buy and using a window scraper should come off.
I had to have mine redone so I took it to a pro and he showed me how they do it. He said he has tried all of the chemicals on the market and none of them work. The only way to get it off is to scrape it off with a window scraper. If you have rear defrost it will end up being scraped off in a few places also.
nail polish remover... and a razor.. works pretty damn good.. jus try not to splash the remover around.. it will take some color out of the plastics in the car is sloppy.. i should know.. the sill plate on my door has a few "tear drops"
but other than that it works great

but other than that it works great

We just use the heta gun and some special solvent stuff to get the sticky stuff off. I know all the pro tricks now and does it ever make tinting a lot easier to learn form someone that does it for a living. I can do a perfect job now and it is so easy. If you are getting them redone use 3M or Lemco tint and you won't have the color problem again.
