looking for a certain product

I'm trying to track down a certain car "glaze", I believe my father called it.

A buddy of mine saw that my iroc hood had extremely dull paint, almost a matte red. He went into his garage and brought out what looked like an oversized toothpaste tube filled with a pink substance that smelled like cotton candy. He buffed out the corner of my hood and brought back the paint to almost new! I described it to my dad, a body shop tech of 15 years, and he told me that it sounded a lot like a car glaze called "phase 2". Has anyone heard of this? I've been all over google and ebay hunting for something similar to no avail. Someone point me to this product or anything similar.

Thanks fellas!
