Cleaned my seats but.....

I cleaned my seats last thursday or friday(forget now, slept since then) I used some crap from autozone in a orange bottle with a brush on the end of it. First of all it did a crap job. Secondly it left a bad smell in my car. So now i am looking for something else to use(that crap cleaned nothing) that would mayeb leave a more "clean smell" Anyone got any ideas?

go to top of the line detailing(.com)they sell great interior cleaner and other stuff.I cleand my interior with thier cleaner and it looks brand new.I dont work for them either.Never use a hard brush on your seats, etc.it pulls the fabric and wears bad.and never wet the fabric completely, that will cause water to soak the foam and it will stink. The stuff isnt expensive for what it does.

They're easy to use... main thing to remember as previously mentioned, is don't soak it... because the way the seats are shaped, you can't do a nice smooth sweep with a steamer every time, so expect to make a little mess, but again, don't soak it. Vacuum any excess right away. I use one of those things, and they work pretty good... another suggestion would be to use a deodorizer in the solution also. Might help the stench in your ride...

I used stuff called "GM cleaner". You get it at the dealer ship and it smells good I guess. It took all of the grease and mildew stains out of my interior and it was only something like $3.00. It comes in a spray nine shaped bottle. You just squirt it on and brush it in and it comes right out. Now if they only made something to fix cigarette burns I would be set. People that smoke in nice cars should be shot!!! Sorry to all you smokers out there.
