i have and black 86 Z and im interested in getting heritage stripes. at first i was thinking red z emblems on the rockers and red heritage stripesand a red 91-92 bowtie grill. o and then saving up and putting red neons on the bottom (not *****, just to make it look sweet). would the red hert. stripes look too gaudy on a black car. i know i have seen pics of this b4 but i kinda 4get what it looks like. My second choice would be silver stripes since i already have the silver emblems. But that means no neons unless you guys can think of a good color that would go wit it. anyways if you can post pics of silver or red gert. stripes on a black car id appreciate it greatly. THANKS!

 

The red may be overkill. Your best option would probably be the silver-it will stand out enough, but it won't look like the ghetto-mobile rolling down the street. Keep in mind that too much attention will attract the wrong crowds (like cops).

 

yes, cops, i had red full size stripes, and 2 cops, one day...sucked *** !! black car, red stripes, red accents on black car is way too comon, do sumthin diff, like silver, look nice...

 

...but I think that the black Z's with the red stripes are one of the sharpest looking 3rdgens around, IMO.

neons would still look cool with silver stripes, I think blue would go with the silver well.

 

I really like the black and red color combo. Just my opinion.

put white neons underneath, they have a silverish glow to them. there is a grandprix here in town that has these, and his car is silver it looks awesome , but he also has 20"s.

 

hey guys thanks for all your help and suggestions. Maybe the red would attracted too much attention from cops (ive already gotten pulled over 3 times in one month! and i wasnt speeding on any of them! Nj has the worst cops, IMO) The silver would look really nice and wouldnt say "pull me over". Does anybody have pics of silver stripes on black they could post? or could someone photoshop one? O and maybe ill look into those white or blue neons. Thanks again guys.

o and one more question... i want to get the stripes from phoenixgraphix.com. the only problem is i have a 82 style fiberglass hood on my maro and im not sure if the stickers would fit. would i have to alter them? does anyone have a pic of it? thanks.
