DOOR SKIN

Is it possible to take off the out side of the door, i really dont want to replace my door, but i do need to replace it

Yeah you can buy just the door skin. I think year-one and paddock have them. Possibly JCWhitney.

classic industries and www.amesperf.com have 'em. Try to stay away from JC whitney, others have complained their parts (imported rip offs) will not fit correctly or may not contain the proper body lines.

The price of door skins are pretty reasonable, you would be creating a lot of work removing one from another car. Also you would probably get some damage.

Even a new skin usually needs some body work. Replacing one is not for the feint hearted.... it's a bit of work. You also have to be careful welding the new panel as not to overheat it and warp it.

You might consider a pro shop for this task.
